Located adjacent to the Fleece Tent and the Wednesday Spinners Tent, the Fiber Marketplace at the Common Ground Country Fair provides an outlet for Maine businesses that cater to the small fiber producer and fiber user to sell their products and equipment. In addition, it is a venue for educational activities related to fiber, including spinning, dyeing, weaving, fiber care, and sheep breeds.
The Fiber Marketplace is open to the businesses based in Maine. We especially seek vendors who offer equipment manufactured from natural materials and sell fiber products made predominantly with fiber produced on Maine farms.
