Common Ground Country Fair Poster

 Each year, MOFGA hosts a poster design contest to find an design that captures the essence of the Common Ground Country Fair.
The 2011 Fair design celebrates local home-grown food with a still life painting of vegetable canning by Maine artist, Dacia Klinkerch.
MOFGA features the selected design on the Fair poster, t-shirt, softgoods and marketing and promotional media. A profile of the artist will appear in the MOFGA quarterly newspaper. MOFGA also sends out a press release focusing on the artist and the design. In addition to these promotional benefits, the winning artist receives $1,000, as well as the satisfaction of seeing her/his creation on posters and t-shirts all over Maine and beyond!
The contest is open only to Maine residents and MOFGA members (regardless of residence).
Design entries for the 2012 Common Ground Country Fair poster will be accepted up until Friday, August 5, 2011. Download an entry form, technical guidelines and contest guidelines below if you are interested in submitting a design.
